Sound selection by Akkamiau - Die Kunst der Musik, und eine Analyse derselben. Each month a little surprise, focusing on sweet air, sounds and noises. An hour long audiomix, a conceptual take on borders of hearable environments. Featuring audio from audiovisual performances, movies or installations, sound art installation, theatre or poetry excerpts, field recordings and emotional memories and other experiments.

Audio experiment 'Excerpts From Sylvia Plath's Unabridged Diaries', is a sound journey through mental-emotional lands of the poet, transposed and imprinted in sonic improvisations between artists/musicians Lena Kocisova [ akkamiau] and Sarah Martinus.

Selected chapters are narrated by Sarah Martinus with accompanying soundscapes, originating from our collaborative improvisations, springing from enjoyment, from emotion on Korg Kronos.

As we read the intimate, profound, ridiculous and brazen recounts of Sylvia, an artist in the true sense of the word, we are reminded of the worth of creative energy, the core of artistic expression, how this needs to be nurtured within each of us as we live out each day in our physical realities.

We hope the insights, trials and tribulations of the honest accounts from Sylvia's life allow you to explore the deep and creative energy of what is female within all of us.

We have named the show: Λambda or shortly by sign: Λ (upper case) representing a cosmological constant, the density of the energy of the space in the expanding and accelerating universe; the lower case λ is a symbol representing a wavelength of sound and other waves. This meant heartfully and authentically symbolic as inclusive for all of us - since we all live in this marvelous universe of sounds and vibrations. Our name Λambda merges those two ideas of expansion and measure, we metaphorically code the message of our mission.
