Voltage (the movie), a predecessor to grounding ritual Voltage 2.0, is an audiovisual piece exploring the electromagnetic tension of disconnection — between self and other, body and code, nature and machine.
Created by Lenka Kočišová (Akkamiau) – artist, musician, and intuitive explorer – the piece blends choreography, emotional sound textures, and algorithmic transformation into one flowing experience. In this work, Lenka weaves her own emotional textures with technology – her voice becomes both a carrier of meaning and raw material for AI systems, transforming into chants, whispers, glitches, and breath-like sonic gestures. Around 3:30, we enter a transmission zone sculpted by an AI algorithm that reinterprets her emotional input into a soundscape of tension, emptiness, and soft yearning – something between Buddhist mantras, sonic dream fragments, and glitched-out soul poetry.
The video was created in collaboration with dancers whose movements resonate with the electromagnetic field of disconnection – the tension between body and technology, presence and the invisible. Even though the piece is rich in machines, data, and code, it tells a very raw story about fragility, embodiment, and connection. This piece invites you to listen not just with your ears, but with your nervous system. It’s not quite music, not just video – it's a transmission.

Atavism as a meditative state on the ancestral inhabitants in matter; water, stone, earth, ether, and fire. We are constantly pouring into and out of one another like a tide washing over the sea when our feet touch the earth, we lay down and pull up roots from the rising and falling of our feet. stars fall from our eyes we shake like jugs of water. When we sip a kiss or hug we are nothing more than shape-shifters forming and deforming from the elements which are constantly circling, making, remaking, undoing, falling apart. . . we do this also with our minds because we are also water, stone, earth, ether, fire; of nature herself.

"When played at the right sound level, which is quite high and exciting, the tones in this music will cause your ears to act as neurophonic instruments that emit sounds that will seem to be issuing directly from your head ... Tones 'dance' in the immediate space of their body, around them like a sonic wrap, cascade inside ears, and out to space in front of their eyes ... Do not be alarmed!
