Audio experiment 'Excerpts From Sylvia Plath's Unabridged Diaries', is a sound journey through mental-emotional lands of the poet, transposed and imprinted in sonic improvisations between artists/musicians Lena Kocisova [ akkamiau] and Sarah Martinus.
Selected chapters are narrated by Sarah Martinus with accompanying soundscapes, originating from our collaborative improvisations, springing from enjoyment, from emotion on Korg Kronos.
As we read the intimate, profound, ridiculous and brazen recounts of Sylvia, an artist in the true sense of the word, we are reminded of the worth of creative energy, the core of artistic expression, how this needs to be nurtured within each of us as we live out each day in our physical realities.
